HO-6 vs. the Master Policy: Who Covers What in a Florida Condo
The association's master policy covers the building and common elements; your HO-6 covers what the master policy leaves to owners, plus your belongings, liability and loss assessments. Exactly where the line falls depends on your declaration and whether the master policy is bare walls, single entity or all-in.

Find the line
Look for language on who insures interior finishes, fixtures, appliances and improvements. That's what your HO-6 building coverage must cover.
Don't forget
Liability inside your unit, loss of use and loss assessment are yours regardless.
